Figure Ground is a network of artists working in the public realm based in London and the South East, which produces events that are open, participatory , creative, and artist centred. The network and events aim to explore issues around practice, sparking ideas, and contributing to critical debate about the role of public art. The founders of Figure Ground were recipients of the Art Plus Award, and the core group of members are artists working in the public realm with experience of a wide range of projects and working contexts.
